‘90 DAY FIANCÉ’: RASIT CONFRONTS MALLORIE’S EX AT HIS ‘WHITE TRASH BASH’ IN ALABAMA
A Clash of Cultures and Unresolved Exes: Inside the Explosive Confrontation on ’90 Day Fiancé’
Adjusting to a new life in a different country is never easy, but TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé star Rasit is finding out the hard way that moving from Turkey to Alabama comes with an entirely unique set of challenges. On Sunday’s episode, viewers witnessed Rasit struggle not only with extreme culture shock but also with an incredibly tense and uncomfortable confrontation with his fiancé Mallorie’s ex-boyfriend, Brandon.
From the moment Rasit arrived in the American South, tension had been brewing. At the heart of the issue is Mallorie’s continued close friendship with her ex, a dynamic that Rasit has openly struggled to accept. The underlying awkwardness quickly boiled over when the two men met face-to-face for the first time.

The trouble began when Brandon dropped by the couple’s home unannounced. He claimed he was simply stopping by to retrieve a pet camera he had previously loaned to Mallorie. However, the unexpected visit left Rasit deeply annoyed. While Mallorie remained optimistic, expressing hope that her future husband and her ex could eventually form a friendship, Rasit was having none of it. He shut down the idea immediately, bluntly declaring, “F–k Brandon.”
Brandon was equally unimpressed by the reception, noting the immediate hostility coming from Rasit’s side. He warned that Rasit would need to adjust his attitude quickly, especially with a welcoming party scheduled for that evening.
“Tomorrow we are giving him a first-hand experience of life in the South, and he’s going to have to man up and deal with the issue, because it’s disrespectful,” Brandon told the cameras. “And that’s one thing I don’t do is disrespect.”
Fears of Prejudice and Unconditional Protection
Before the welcoming festivities could begin, the couple shared a deeply emotional and painful conversation. Mallorie broke down in tears as she revealed the ugly reality of the prejudice Rasit was facing from some of her own social circle. She confessed that she had been forced to disinvite several people from the party after they made highly offensive and xenophobic remarks about Rasit’s Turkish heritage and faith.
“They have said bad things about you because you come from a Muslim country,” Mallorie admitted tearfully. “They judge… They flat out called you a terrorist.”
Rasit, understandably deeply hurt, expressed his anxiety to the cameras about attending a gathering surrounded by such narrow-minded perspectives. “I think American people judging all Muslim,” Rasit reflected quietly. “Muslim has bad people, Christian has bad people. Same.”

The hurtful comments fiercely triggered Mallorie’s protective instincts. Devastated and angry, she made it clear she would not stand for anyone mistreating her fiancé. She declared she would “punch a motherf–er in the face” if they dared to disrespect him at the party.
“It’s a huge worry that somebody might say something just really cruel and rude to him,” Mallorie explained. “I mean, I’m terrified, but the last thing I’m going to tolerate is some ignorant, backwoods, uneducated motherf–er say something silly to my future husband.”
Tailgates and Turmoil: The “White Trash Bash” Confrontation
Fortunately, the party itself began on a lighter note. Dubbed a “white trash bash” by Mallorie to playfully introduce Rasit to local Southern culture, the event featured guests dressed in camouflage, overalls, cowboy boots, and trucker hats, all while chanting “USA” in high spirits. For a brief moment, Rasit was able to let his guard down and enjoy the festivities.
However, the lighthearted atmosphere evaporated the moment Brandon walked through the gate. Rasit’s mood instantly soured, and he admitted in a confessional that seeing the ex-boyfriend there made him incredibly uncomfortable. He stressed that having Brandon at his welcome party felt entirely “weird” and inappropriate.
Determined to establish boundaries, Rasit decided to confront Brandon directly. But his approach immediately rubbed the Alabamian the wrong way. In the South, there are unspoken rules of respect, and according to Brandon, Rasit crossed a major line before a single word was even spoken.

“He did the prime thing of insulting a man in the South, of sitting on a man’s tailgate uninvited,” Brandon complained to production. “That’s just something you don’t do down here because it’s disrespectful.”
Unbothered by Southern etiquette, Rasit looked Brandon in the eye and stated plainly, “I have a problem with you.”
Rather than backing down, Brandon met the challenge head-on, viewing the confrontation as a deliberate power play. “I think it was intentional to kind of show me a sign of dominance,” Brandon warned afterward. “Which I’m not the person for him to do that to, because I choose violence any day.”
With emotions running incredibly high, culture clashes turning personal, and an ex who refuses to retreat, Rasit and Mallorie’s journey toward the altar is proving to be a wild and rocky road.
